You found us for a reason.

Let's figure out where to begin.

Whether you're navigating chronic illness, burnout, or a body that needs a different kind of care — there's a place for you here. This page will help you find it.

Body Luminary is a wellness education brand built around one idea: your body already knows how to heal. It doesn't need to be corrected or optimized. It needs conditions that let it do what it was always designed to do.

We offer ongoing community support, guided learning programs, short courses, and simple resources — all rooted in the TENDing Method, a body-led approach to healing and sustainable living.

You don't need to understand all of that yet. Just find the description below that fits where you are right now.

Where are you right now?

JUST ARRIVING

I’m new here and not sure where to start.

Start with something free. Get a feel for the work, the voice, and whether this resonates — before you spend anything.

What’s available:

  • The Body Luminary Symptom Tracker — a free PDF to help you begin reading your body’s patterns

  • The blog — honest writing about chronic illness, nervous system healing, and sustainable living

  • Follow along on Instagram or Facebook for short practices and community

→  Get the free symptom tracker →

READY TO TRY SOMETHING

I want support, but I’m not ready for a big commitment.

Start small. These are low-cost, low-pressure ways to experience Body Luminary’s approach before stepping into a bigger program.

What’s available:

  • Seasonal tending guides — short PDF + video offerings for moving through each season with your body ($17)

  • The Tending Practice — a monthly membership starting at $19/month, with a community call, resources, and ongoing support

  • 30-minute lifestyle coaching session — one focused session with Michele, no long-term commitment required

→  Browse what’s available

READY TO GO DEEPER

I want structured learning and real transformation.

The TENDing Method is a 10-week virtual group coaching program that combines nervous system regulation, body awareness, medical expertise, and community. It’s the most comprehensive way to work with Body Luminary.

What’s available:

  • TENDing Foundations — the 6-week foundational program, offered in cohorts

  • Advanced TENDing — weeks 7–10 for Foundations graduates

  • Body literacy workshops — standalone themed sessions on specific topics

→ Explore the programs

Still not sure?

That’s completely okay. Most people who find their way here are in a season where things feel unclear — that’s often exactly why they’re here.

A few questions that might help:

  • —> If you’re in an active flare, depleted, or just want to dip your toe in — start with Path 1 or the $19/month Tending Circle. Low commitment, easy to cancel, and genuinely useful even on hard days.

  • —>If you have some stability and want something to hold onto month to month — The Tending Practice at any tier is a good fit.

  • —>If you’re stable enough to take on a structured program and want to understand your body in a deeper way — TENDing Foundations is where to go.

You don’t have to figure it all out today. Come back when you’re ready.

A note from me

I built Body Luminary because I needed it to exist and it didn't.

I know what it's like to arrive somewhere new when you're already exhausted — to not have the energy to read everything and figure out where you fit. This page is my attempt to make that easier.

If you're not sure where to start, start small. The Tending Practice exists exactly for that — a low-stakes place to land while you figure out what you need.

I'm glad you're here.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No diagnosis required. Many people in this community have a formal diagnosis — Long COVID, ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, autoimmune disease — but many don’t. If you’re living in a body that needs more care than the world currently allows for, that’s enough. You don’t need paperwork to belong here.

  • That’s a fair question, and I’d rather you ask it than pretend it away. The honest answer is that most wellness programs are built for people who are basically well. They assume you have enough energy to implement new habits, enough capacity to track your progress, enough stability to show up consistently. The TENDing Method starts from a different assumption: that your body is already doing its best under difficult conditions, and what it needs is tending — not optimization. Whether that’s different enough to help you, I can’t promise. But it’s genuinely built for people who are exhausted by programs that don’t account for the reality of chronic illness.

  • Then start there. The free symptom tracker is one PDF. The Tending Circle is one hour a month. The seasonal guides are short enough to read in a single sitting on a hard day. Nothing here requires you to show up consistently, perform progress, or push through. If small is what you have, small is where we start.

  • No, and it’s not designed to. Body Luminary is a wellness education and community program — not a clinical service. It’s designed to complement your existing care, not replace it. We’re not a substitute for your doctors, therapists, or other practitioners. What we offer is the kind of support that often falls between clinical appointments: body awareness, community, nervous system practices, and a framework for understanding how to live sustainably with what you’re navigating.

  • Most likely. Practitioners come to Body Luminary for their own healing. Others come because they want to understand this approach for their patients or clients. TENDing Foundations offers a unique philosophy of healing and the body to practitioners, and a practitioner training pathway is in development. If you’d like to talk about how this work might fit your practice, reach out through the contact page.

  • Yes — they’re designed to work together. Foundations is a structured 10-week learning program. The Tending Practice is ongoing monthly support and community. Many people find that doing both at once gives them a place to practice and process what they’re learning in Foundations. That said, if you’re in a low-capacity season, it’s fine to start with just one.

  • The Tending Practice memberships are month-to-month with no contracts — you can cancel before your next billing date with no penalty. The seasonal guides and other digital downloads are final sale, but at $17 the risk is low. TENDing Foundations has its own enrollment terms which are listed on the program page. If you’re genuinely unsure, start with something small and reversible. That’s what they’re there for.

  • Body Luminary is an online education and community program — we don’t offer in-person clinical care through this platform. But hands-on care is available through a related practice.

Stockheart Whole Health is an integrative clinic in Uptown Minneapolis that shares the same philosophy and several of the same practitioners. The team there offers chiropractic, acupuncture, craniosacral therapy, functional medicine, massage, and more — all delivered with a trauma-informed, whole-person approach designed for people navigating chronic illness and complex conditions.

Dr. Michele Renée founded Stockheart and continues to be part of that community, though her own patient availability is currently limited. Dr. Brenna Erickson and the full Stockheart team are actively accepting new clients. You can learn more and book at stockheart.com.

If you’re looking for hands-on support outside of Minneapolis, the About page has information on all three Body Luminary practitioners and how to reach each of them directly.
