Three Ways to be Part of the TENDing Practice

Most of us were never taught how to live in a body long-term.

We were taught how to push through.

To be productive.

To override fatigue.

To ignore symptoms.

To keep going no matter what.

But eventually, many of our bodies ask us to live differently.

Sometimes through illness.

Sometimes through burnout.

Sometimes through pain, migraines, fatigue, or brain fog.

Sometimes simply through life becoming too full to sustain.

At that point, the question changes from:

“How do I push through?”

“How do I build a life my body can live in?”

This membership exists to help you answer that question — slowly, realistically, and with support.

Questions you might have

If something isn’t answered here, feel free to reach out before joining.

  • The monthly Tending Circle meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 3PM CST. Calls are 45 minutes. You’ll receive the link and a brief preparation note by email a few days before each call.


  • Yes — every Tending Circle is recorded, and the recording is available to all members within 48 hours. I know that for many people in this community, unpredictable capacity is a real part of daily life. You don’t have to attend live to get value from the membership. The recording is there when you’re ready for it.

  • Yes, you can move between tiers at any time. If you upgrade, the change takes effect immediately. If you downgrade, it takes effect at your next billing date. There’s no penalty for changing — this membership is designed to flex with your life.

  • Yes. There are no contracts or minimum commitments. You can cancel before your next billing date and you won’t be charged again. I don’t believe in making it hard to leave.

  • Each month you’ll have access to one 20-minute 1:1 session with a TENDing Coach. These are focused, informal check-ins — a space to bring a specific question, something you’re navigating, or just a moment to think out loud with support. Sessions are scheduled through a simple booking link sent with your welcome email. Unused sessions do not roll over month to month.

  • Neither, exactly. I’m a chiropractor, acupuncturist, and licensed massage therapist — not a licensed therapist or mental health counselor. Other TENDing Coaches are either Health Coaches or holistic docs like me. The Tending Practice is an educational and wellness membership, not a clinical service. That said, the work here is real: we talk honestly about hard things, and many people find it deeply supportive. If you’re currently working with a therapist or counselor, this membership is designed to complement that work, not replace it.

  • Not at all. You’re welcome to come, listen, and just be present. Some people share every month. Others mostly listen. Both are completely okay. The Tending Circle is not a group where you’re expected to perform growth or vulnerability — it’s a space to show up however you actually are that day.

  • Between calls, the community lives in our members-only email list and our TENDing Facebook page. You’ll get access details in your welcome email. You can engage as much or as little as feels right.

  • No diagnosis required. This membership is for anyone who is learning to live more sustainably — whether that’s because of a chronic illness, burnout, caregiving demands, or simply the weight of a life that’s become too full. If you’re finding that the way you’ve been living isn’t working for your body anymore, you’re in the right place.

You are allowed to build a different kind of life.

You are allowed to rest.

You are allowed to move slower.

You are allowed to change your priorities.

You are allowed to need support.

You are allowed to live differently than you once planned.
